For as long as I can remember, I have struggled with how I use food in my life. I've always felt like there was a disconnect between what I wanted to consume for my health, and what I decided to put in my mouth. But I didn't know how to bridge what I saw as a gap between what I thought and what I did. Over the past few years, I've gotten very serious about learning how my brain works as it related to food, and learning a better way to manage my eating. I now recognize that there are multiple parts of my brain telling me to use food in different ways. I am learning how to listen to these "voices" that I hear, and respond in the way that serves my health and wellness the best.
